Even an Unchallenged Mistress of these Waters is wise to approach respectfully to someone who can not only promote as guardian and motivator team to sirens and is described as a minor goddess.
Seems likely she could DEmote Iola to a literal tadpole if she was pissed enough (and, perhaps, not running nearly empty on power, but no reason Iola would know that).
… but she is also unavailable for the next century or so, no?
