For someone who is not good at confrontation, Carly can be downright forceful when he needs to be.
I think “Assertive” is the word we want here.
Carly doesn’t deal well with people who are Aggressive, and when confronted by one of those, he tends to resort to being Passive.
Not wanting to put in spoilers but I have to disagree on the point of Carly going passive in the face of aggression. At least not in the case of physical aggression. Verbal aggression Carly tends to avoid, but he does display very strong maternal instincts. We’ve all ready watched him caring for Rocky, and he is also being very protective of Ace after the fall into the hidden room.
