"So we actually have a fourth roommate on the top floor?" Ace asked as the van rouned a corner.
"Yes," Carly said, "the owner stays there when she's in town."
Rocky added, "We get a break on the rent since we help keep the place up. I usually do the yard work and Carly keeps things clean. Long as we don't leave her a mess."
Carly asked, "You think you could take care of the pool, Ace?"
"We have a pool?" Ace asked.
"Not the most observant fellow, are you Ace?" noted Rocky.
